Pay incentives for TCOLE certifications, college degrees, bi-lingual, and longevity.
Health Insurance HSA health plan with Department contributions of up to $4,200 a year, Dental PPO or DHMO policy Department pays 100% of employee's coverage. Department pays for 75% of spouse/dependent coverage. Life & AD&D $50,000.00 policy provided by department life insurance. Additional coverage available at employee expense. $50,000 policy provided by department in AD&D. Retirement Texas Municipal Retirement System 2-1 match Employee Contributions: 7% (Tax Deferred/Pre-Tax) Department Contributions: 14% matching 5 year vesting 20 years at any age

Time Off Sick Leave Department provided sick leave earns 5.33 hours per month (64 hours per year) Personal time accrued at 16 hours twice a year (32 hours per year) Vacation 80 hrs per year for 1 -5 years of service Earn 120 hours per year for 6-15 years of service. Earn 180 hours per year for 16+ years of service. Holidays Department paid holidays (10 per year)
