This is the first official weekend of Holiday Parties, so with that, we will all need to be on our best defensive driving awareness.  For the next 4 weeks, we expect to see an increase in drunk drivers across the metro area as people attend holiday get-togethers and parties.  We will be on the lookout for impaired drivers and will do our best to remove them from the roads as we want everyone to be safe. We also want anyone who is out during the weekend evening hours to be extra cautious and aware that there will be drunk drivers out.  If you see a vehicle weaving, failing to maintain a lane, or hitting curbs or esplanades, stay away from them.
